How do I set up a fundraising page?
  • To set up a fundraising page, simply register an account and enter the details of your fundraising event. After approximately two working days, your page will be successfully activated. You can upload photos to represent your fundraising event and update the latest information after activation, informing donors about your contributions to underprivileged students.
Can I create a fundraising activity for children under 18?
  • Yes, anyone can create a personal fundraising activity, regardless of age, as long as they are willing to contribute to providing equal learning opportunities for underprivileged students.
Are there any type restrictions for fundraising activities?
  • Generally, there are no restrictions on fundraising activities. However, any form of discrimination, inappropriate language, or illegal activities is strictly prohibited. PCFTWn reserves the right to delete or not activate related fundraising activities without prior notice.
What are the requirements for uploading fundraising activity images?
  • You can upload any graphics or photos related to your event, provided they are within 5MB. There are no restrictions on file formats; after uploading, we will crop the images to a square for display on your fundraising page.
How long does it take to approve accounts and activities?
  • It typically takes about two working days to complete the approval of your account and activities after your application is successfully submitted. Please be patient, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
How to start fundraising?
  • Once your account is successfully activated, your dedicated fundraising page will be created. You can invite friends and family to support your event through donations. Your fundraising goal will be displayed on the page, allowing your friends and family to track your fundraising progress.
Is there a limit for fundraising goals?
  • There are no upper or lower limits for fundraising goals. We recommend starting with a minimum goal of $1,000. Even if you don't reach this target, every contribution helps empower underprivileged students.
How can I get more people to know about my fundraising activity?
  • Your fundraising activity will have a unique link that you can share with friends and family via email, FacebookInstagram, WhatsApp, and other social platforms. Remember to keep the message concise and include the link to your page, ensuring that friends can access it directly.
How do I change my account information?
  • Log in to your account by clicking the "Login" button in the top right corner of the page and entering your email address and password. You can then update your account information, including your mobile number. If you forget your password, click the "Forgot Password" link to reset it.
  • You can also upload a personal profile picture.
How do I update the progress of my activity?
  • After logging in, you can share the latest information or fundraising progress in the "Latest Updates" section of your fundraising activity page, keeping friends and family informed about your event.
What if I want to change the content of my activity?
  • The content of the fundraising activity, including the theme, purpose, and date, can be set when creating your fundraising account. If you wish to modify any details during the event, please contact us.
  • To update activity progress, log in and post in the "Latest Updates" section.
Can I create multiple fundraising activities with one account?
  • Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, you can only create one activity per account at this time. If you want to set up multiple activities simultaneously, please create a new account with a different email address. We hope to improve the system's functionality in the future as we receive more donations. Thank you for your support.
How can I show my friends and family the progress of my fundraising activity?
  • Your personal fundraising page will display your fundraising goal and the amount currently raised, allowing you and your friends to see the progress. You can also update the activity's status through "Latest Updates" to keep them informed.
Will I receive a report on the fundraising results after the event ends?
  • One month after the event concludes, we will email you a report on your fundraising activity, including total funds raised, the highest donation amount, number of donors, and other relevant information.
Can I cancel my account?

Donors

How can donors make donations?
  • Donors can make donations through Stripe credit card, Faster Payment System, or PayMe.
Is it necessary to create an account to donate?
  • No account creation is required for donations; you can donate directly on the fundraising page. We also welcome you to create an account for the "PCFTW" fundraising and organize fundraising events to provide equal learning opportunities for under-privileged students.
Is there a minimum or maximum amount for each donation?
  • The minimum donation amount is $20, and there is no upper limit. Every contribution can help provide equal learning opportunities for grassroots students.
Can donations be tax-deductible?
  • The Principal Chan Free Tutorial World is a public charitable organization exempt from tax under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. For donations of HKD 100 or more, we can provide a receipt. Donation receipts will be sent electronically to donors one month after the fundraising event concludes.
Do the funds need to be transferred to the "PCFTW" account by the fundraiser?
  • Yes, the funds will be donated directly to the "PCFTW" account through the website.
Can I donate anonymously?
  • Yes, you can choose to donate anonymously when filling out your donation details; your name will be displayed as "a caring person."
Why is my donation not showing on the fundraising page?
  • Donations may not appear immediately on the fundraising page during backend updates. Please refresh the page after a moment.
